Frequently asked questions.

• What's the difference between a custom site and a template or WordPress? — A template is the same base for thousands of sites; a custom site is designed and coded from scratch for your brand. We don't use templates or WordPress: it's more work, but it's what makes your site not look like anyone else's, load fast, and go exactly where you want it to. If your case is better solved with an existing platform, we'll tell you.
• Does it include design? — Yes, the design of the site: visual direction, structure and a prototype before touching code. If you already have a brand identity, we start from there. Brand design itself (building a branding from scratch or a rebrand) isn't our core, but we work with a top-tier branding agency and can cover it within the same project, so you don't have to coordinate it yourself.
• How long does it take? — A custom site usually takes 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the number of pages, the level of animation, and whether the copy and content are ready. Projects with 3D scenes or complex interaction take longer.
• How much does it cost? — Quoted per project based on scope. After that there's a monthly maintenance fee, fixed per project, that covers hosting, domain, monitoring and adjustments. Any third-party services needed, if any, are billed at cost and detailed in the proposal.
• What about maintenance? — Once it's live, the site keeps a monthly fee that keeps everything running: hosting, security updates, backups and small content changes. Redesigns or new sections are quoted separately.
• Will I be able to edit the content myself? — Yes. We connect the site to a CMS, usually Sanity, so your team can change copy, images and pages without touching code. The CMS varies per project and we set it up around your content.
• Is the site optimized for SEO? — Yes, technical SEO is part of the deliverable: structure, metadata, structured data, speed and passing Core Web Vitals from launch. If we're redesigning an existing site, we take care of URLs and redirects so you don't lose rankings.
• Can I start with a basic version and grow later? — Yes. We can launch with the essential pages and add new sections later on the same foundation. New sections are quoted separately, when you need them.
